You don’t have to be a Survival employee to be a Survival campaigner. By raising awareness in your local area and challenging prejudice against tribal peoples, you have the power to make a real difference.
Put your biro to good use, and write a letter for tribal peoples. Letters are a powerful expression of public opinion, holding governments and organisations to account. If you need help getting started, template letters are available on our website. We even provide the facility to have your letter emailed to you as a ready-to-print letter. On receipt of your PDF file all you need to do is print, sign and post it! You can also email your local MP or MEP (UK) directly through this website: www.writetothem.com
Demonstrations and vigils are a time-honored way of calling for change. Grabbing a placard and joining Survival at one of our demonstrations or vigils is a practical way to show your commitment to the movement for tribal peoples, and to meet like-minded people. If you would like to be notified of planned Survival demos and vigils, please sign up to receive Survival’s monthly e-news.
Screening films about the culture and struggles of tribal peoples really helps to bring the message home. Why not show a film to friends or have a lunchtime screening at your place of work or study?
A high quality version of our film Mine: Story of a Sacred Mountain is available for download and streaming from our website.
We can send you Survival brochures, bulletins and posters to distribute or display in a local library, museum, at work or anywhere you think they will get noticed. If you would like to receive Survival literature by post, please complete the form below.
