French TV station France 2 has withdrawn a controversial TV show featuring tribal peoples, following a letter from human rights organisations denouncing the show as derogatory. Survival, the Ligue des droits de l'Homme, and International Human Rights Federation met with France 2 after the channel announced its withdrawal of the programme, known as 'Chameleons' and then renamed 'At the end of the world'. The three organisations have applauded France 2's decision.
