Kawahiva: Their survival is under constant threat
Until the territory of the uncontacted Kawahiva people is officially mapped out and protected, their survival is under constant threat. Loggers and other outsiders are eyeing up the territory and trying to intimidate authorities. The destruction around the Kawahiva’s forest is shocking - we can’t let it happen to the Kawahiva themselves. This is urgent!
