Indigenous peoples are the best guardians of biodiversity - 80% of the world’s biodiversity is found in Indigenous territories. Except the people looking after nature are often attacked and abused, for mining, ranching, conservation and more. In the case of #UncontactedTribes, their very survival is at risk if their lands aren’t protected from invasion. But where they’re able to live self-sufficiently, they thrive.
