Payroll giving is a simple, tax-efficient scheme which allows employees to donate to any UK registered charity of their choice directly from their salary, or occupational pension, before tax.

Donations are made before income tax is deducted, so you get tax relief on your donation immediately and at your highest rate of tax. So, if you pay tax at the basic rate of 20% and authorise a monthly donation to Survival of £10, the actual cost to you is only £8.
